LightStrips Anonymous is a specialist maker of Philips Hue compatible extension and connector cables. Every cable we sell is built to order in the UK — not pulled from a shelf of mass-produced stock, but assembled specifically for your configuration when you place your order.

Why made to order?

Factory produced cables will often have limited length and configuration options.  We can make all cables any length and configuation you desire, within the electrical limits of each Hue model.  Off-the-shelf cables vary, tolerances drift, solder joints are rushed, and quality control is inconsistent. By building each cable to order, we can inspect every connection, use the correct gauge wire throughout, and ensure the finished product performs exactly as it should. It doesn't take much longer, as they are often made on the same day, and the result is a cable you can trust alongside your Hue setup.

Philips Hue spec compliance

Our cables are engineered to match Philips Hue's electrical specifications — correct voltage tolerances, current ratings, and connector standards.  We test every cable before it leaves us.  Unfortunately, we cannot test for every setup, so occasionally they may not work for your particular needs.  When common limitations apply, we do our best to highlight this in the description.

Quality and testing

Each cable goes through continuity testing and a functional check before dispatch. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship. We'd rather rebuild it than send out something that causes problems in your setup.
